Mobile Symphony, Inc. (MSO) is committed to protecting and respecting the privacy of our patrons. Our privacy policy was adopted to inform MSO website users of how submitted information is collected, stored and used. Mobile Symphony can/will use information for internal data purposes (demographics/statistics) and/or marketing materials. Mobile Symphony will on occasion provide this information to other Arts Organization in the Gulf Coast region. By interacting on and through our website you agree and accept these practices described above.

I. Information Collected

Mobile Symphony’s website does not automatically collect information about you. Personal information that you elect to provide to us through, but not limited to, questionnaires, donations, orders to make purchase, and/or a form to be included in a purchase or mailing list may be collected and maintained within our organization. Any information that we collect and provide to a third party is considered aggregate data or demographic data. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not provide us with your personal information within our website.

II. Use of Information

If you have provided your e-mail address on our website, you have opted in to receiving electronic mail concerning, but not limited to, special discount offers, symphony performance evaluations, and a means of contacting you concerning updating your information in our database. At any time you can opt out of our news feed via electronic mail at the bottom of any email that you have received from Mobile Symphony. If you choose to opt out of our email list, Mobile Symphony will still hold your email address for internal database use and third party trading, but will not personally contact you concerning news or special offers.

If you have provided your mailing address on our website, you have opted in to receiving Mobile Symphony mailings concerning, but not limited to, Mobile Symphony event notifications, donation solicitations, and/or special discounts. At any time you can opt out of our mailing lists by calling 251-432-2010 between the hours of 9am to 5pm, Monday through Friday, not including major holidays. By removing yourself from the mailing list, you will no longer receive direct mail from Mobile Symphony. Opting out of our mail list will not exclude you from future mailings from mail houses and/or third party trades.

III. Security

The security of your information is very important to us. Credit card data in our database conforms to the Payment Card Industry Security Standards Council (PCI SSC) Payment Application Data Security Standard (PA-DSS) v2.0 requirements from the credit card industry. That means we do not store data from credit card transactions such as Track II or CVV2/CID (the 3 or 4 digits on the back of the card). If stored, credit card numbers are securely encrypted and we ask that you never send a complete number to us in emails. PCI compliance means that our database and key internal applications have been tested for security by independent 3rd party auditors and approved by the PCI council. Data no longer required for our business purposes or legal requirements is destroyed.

IV. Conditions of Use

If you choose to interact with Mobile Symphony’s websites or our social media outlets, your visit and any dispute over privacy is subject to this privacy policy. This policy is subject to change, and the use of any information gathered now is subject to the privacy policy that is in effect at the time of use. All Mobile Symphony website users are responsible for checking our website periodically to view any recent changes to this policy. If our privacy policy changes, we will post the changes on this page, the homepage and any other place the Mobile Symphony deems appropriate for users to be aware of such changes. Users that are visiting our site outside of the United States do so on their own initiative. The MSO makes no representation that this privacy policy adheres to any laws of any other country. If you are navigating through Mobile Symphony’s website and you reside outside of the United States, you consent to the transfer and use of your information outside of your country.
