We open our season with Latin heat! Cuban pianist Aldo López-Gavilán performs Ravel’s concerto in a program filled with beloved tributes to the music of Spain and Cuba.

Beethoven became disillusioned with his hero Napoleon, for whom he wrote is third symphony. But our concert is right on target with heroic young violin virtuoso Paul Huang and a world premiere of Austin Wintory’s new work.

This concert is filled with awe-inspiring pieces showcasing our orchestra’s talent and brilliance! We feature our own Mollie Pate in Richard Strauss’ first horn concerto.

Young, vibrant and exceptionally talented! Cello prodigy Sujari Britt was a hit on public radio’s From the Top at age 10. She will show you wow as she joins the MSO for the Saint-Saens concerto.

We open our season with an all-strings program headlined by American composer Samuel Barber’s beloved Adagio for Strings.
