We open our season with Latin heat! Cuban pianist Aldo López-Gavilán performs Ravel’s concerto in a program filled with beloved tributes to the music of Spain and Cuba.
Beethoven became disillusioned with his hero Napoleon, for whom he wrote is third symphony. But our concert is right on target with heroic young violin virtuoso Paul Huang and a world premiere of Austin Wintory’s new work.
