The Mobile Symphony’s Young People’s Concert series is the perfect field trip for students to unplug and experience the power of live music. This year, we welcome back the beloved “Orchestra Olympics”! This 45-minute interactive concert features iconic pieces to introduce students to the fastest, slowest, loudest, softest, longest, shortest, funniest, and scariest moments in all of music! Students actively participate as judges in fun musical competitions, and the winning musicians are awarded Olympic‐style Gold Medals.
Students: $5.00
($3.00 if reserved by October 31)
Teachers and Chaperones: Free
(Please limit 1 teacher/chaperone for every 10 students)

Who can attend?
Our Young People’s Concerts make great field trips for local schools! However, anyone is welcome to attend but must reserve seats in advance by calling (251)432-2010 or emailing Ashley Overby at ashley@mobilesymphony.org
Is there an age limit to attend?
Yes. YPC performances are best suited for students age 5+. Please, no babies in arms.
Does the venue provide ADA accommodations?
Yes. Wheelchair seating is available on the first floor of the Saenger Theatre. Please be sure to notify us of any accomodation needs when reserving your seats. Note: there is no elevator in the theatre.
Directions and Parking
The Saenger Theatre is located at 6 S. Joachim Street in downtown Mobile.
Parking is available in several public parking lots located near the theatre. The closest lot is located at 254 Government Street directly across the street from the theatre. School buses will be directed to a designated lot after drop off.
